13BC is a research and production collective for moving images founded by Evan Calder Williams, Lucy Raven, and Vic Brooks. 

 

Exhibitions and screenings:

Corpse Cleaner, commissioned in 2016 for Le Grand Balcon, La Biennale de Montréal (2016), and screened at Portikus, Frankfurt. 

1/56 was commissioned by Over you/you, 31st Biennial of Graphic Arts, Ljubljana and Frieze Projects / Channel 4 Television's Random Acts, London (2015), and screened at Each Aspect of Life Is a Thing of Triad, mumok, Vienna (2016). 

Fatal Act: Live Reading was performed at Fade In: Int. Art Gallery - Day, Swiss Institute, New York (2016).

Current:

The exhibition Fatal Act is on view 20 June to 7 September 2019 at New York University's 80 Washington Square East Gallery. 

Fatal Act includes the premiere of three moving image works by 13BC – Straight Flush (2019), Act 1 (2019), and When Horses Were Coconuts (2019) – as well as Corpse Cleaner (2016/19), new piano music by Jason Moran, and the installation Good Times.

Upcoming:

Fatal Act will be opening at the Douglas Hyde Gallery in Dublin on 20 September, 2019.
