13BC is a research and production collective for moving images founded by Evan Calder Williams, Lucy Raven, and Vic Brooks. 

Alongside the collective’s film practice, Vic Brooks produces feature films and related projects by artist-filmmakers—including Martine Syms, Ephraim Asili, Sierra Pettengill, and Aria Deanthrough 13BC Productions.


13BC FATAL ACT Exhibitions and Screenings:

Fatal Act included four moving image works by 13BC (Vic Brooks, Lucy Raven, Evan Calder Williams—Straight Flush (2019), Act 1 (2019), When Horses Were Coconuts (2019), and Corpse Cleaner (2016/19), as well as new piano music by Jason Moran, and the installation Good Times.

Straight Flush is a feature-length film installation featuring actors Lily Gladstone, Bill Sage, and Dana Wheeler Nicholson.

The exhibition Fatal Act was on view 20 June to 7 September 2019 at New York University's 80 Washington Square East Gallery. Fatal Act opened at the Douglas Hyde Gallery in Dublin on 20 September, 2019.

1/56 was commissioned by Over you/you, 31st Biennial of Graphic Arts, Ljubljana and Frieze Projects / Channel 4 Television's Random Acts, London (2015).
It screened at Each Aspect of Life Is a Thing of Triad, mumok, Vienna (2016).
